
Dr. Chris Miller leads Tritica Biosciences as founder and Chief Scientific Officer, where he leverages his expertise in grain science and biochemistry to develop innovative grain-based solutions. Since founding the company in 2016, he has focused on transforming traditional grain applications through biotechnology.
His diverse career spans both industry and academia. Starting at Quaker Oats, he managed Oat Milling operations before joining Kansas State University's Grain Science and Industry department, where he taught undergraduate students in the Milling Science program and led professional development courses for international industry experts. He later transitioned to research roles at Heartland Plant Innovations and Engrain, where he investigated wheat proteins linked to celiac disease.
Dr. Miller holds three degrees from Kansas State University: a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics, a master's in Grain Science, and a bachelor's in Milling Science and Management.
